SAW Day
For our SAW day we answered the big question of: Why is plastic a problem in the oceans? We started out by trying to filter out different materials which included, salt, water, lentils and sand. We found it was difficult to separate all of the mixtures and that the smaller the particles the harder it was. We the completed some research on microplastics and how plastic affectations life. We then created some wave pictures based on ‘The Wave off Kanagawa’ by Hokusai. We used tissue paper and pens to create our own versions.
